First Day of Classes and Orientation Dates and Locations - 2012
Welcome to Winnipeg and to Red River College. There are a number of things for you to do on your arrival. International Education staff would like to meet with you before the start of classes to finalize your admission. We are available at the Notre Dame Campus, Room D210 or during the first week of classes at Exchange District Campus Student Service Centre. As well, please view the information on the Introduction to Red River College being held on Saturday January 7, 2012. Please plan to attend.

RRC Profile:
Red River College (RRC) is the largest college in Manitoba sponsored and accredited by the Government of Manitoba. RRC offers nationally and internationally recognized preparatory, certificate, diploma, joint university degree and advanced diploma programs. The College serves an annual student population of over 32,000 full and part-time enrolments with over 1,100 permanent support and instructional staff. Red River offers a comprehensive array of over 110 full time ‘hands-on’ technical and vocational programs.

The International Education Office
We recognize that students may have some uncertainty about living in a foreign country. The International Education Office offers a full range of services to help you during each phase of your study and your adjustment to the Canadian education system. The International Education Office will:
- Process your application and act as your representative to ensure timely admission and registration assistance
- Offer you special counseling and advice to ensure your studies are successful and your time enjoyable.
- Provide homestay, student residence, and accommodation referrals
- Organize workshops on income tax and immigration regulations
- Organize international student activities
