ABORIGINAL YOUTH SUMMER CAMP – Free, fun and fast approaching

We are pleased to announce the 4th year of the Aboriginal Youth camp - HAWK (Hands on Activity Week for Kids)

This year, we are doing things a bit different; we are modifying the program to a 3-year cohort model - meaning we will be accepting 16 students, ages 10-12 years old to participate in the camp for three consecutive summers, free of charge. Our goal is to create an interest and comfort with RRC while exposing students to as many program/career options as possible. We also want to focus on self-esteem, self-identity, team building skills and cultural knowledge.

The programs we have chosen to highlight this year are: Carpentry, Greenspace Management, Stevenson Aviation, Chemistry/Bio Sciences and Civil Engineering.

The 2013 HAWK Camp will run the week of July 22nd – 26th, 2013.

Registration is now OPEN
