Basketball & Volleyball

RRC’s men’s and women’s volleyball and basketball teams compete in the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC). The Rebels are coming off of a very successful MCAC 2008-09 season!! Both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams captured the MCAC Championship! The Men’s Volleyball team also won the MCAC Championship for the second year in a row, and the Women’s Volleyball team finished in 3rd place.

Team selection camps for volleyball and basketball are held in September of each year. The volleyball season continues to February and the basketball season continues on to March.

 Vision

Our athletics program is aimed at helping students develop excellence within the context of highly competitive intercollegiate sports – while at the same time becoming a well-rounded student-athlete. College athletics helps create and foster school spirit at Red River College, and also contributes to our vision of a dynamic college with a diversity of programs!
