The Canadian Animal Blood Bank is a not for profit organization supported by the Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association and Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The organization is dedicated to improving veterinary care by providing blood products for animals who require transfusion therapy as part of their care. The Canadian Animal Blood Bank is located in Winnipeg MB, Canada. A satellite collection site is located at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton, Alberta.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Canadian Animal Blood Bank is to:

• Supply high quality blood products to Canadian veterinarians
• Advance veterinary medicine by educating  veterinarians and animal health technologists in transfusion medicine
• Increase public awareness of animal blood banking

The Canadian Animal Blood Bank values our volunteers, our blood donors and their owners.
