Getting Started This is a guide to getting started in Learn.
Copy Content Between Courses How to use the Import/Export/Copy Components tool to copy content between courses.
Cleaning A Course Master This video shows you how to clean content out of an old course master. This will allow you to copy new content into it and insure you don't create duplicates or have stray files.
Entering Grades The Grades tool allows you to establish an online grade book. Items in the grade book can be tied to other Learn tools such as the Drop-box and Quizzes tools so that a grade entered in one of these tools is automatically updated in the grade book. Question items from the Quizzes tool such as multiple-choice, true/false, matching, ordering, etc. can be set to grade the items automatically and then update the grade book. Students can use the Grades tool to check their grade at anytime during the course.
Managing Grades Learn more about setting up and managing the Grades tool.
Classlist The Classlist provides you and your students with a list of people currently enrolled in your course. The Classlist is automatically updated from the College's Student Information System (SIS). Groups can be created to arrange students in your class and grant different access to course tools.
Content The Content tool allows you to post and organize learning materials for your students. Content material can range from basic text to multimedia files.

Dropbox / Assignments The Dropbox tool was known as the Assignment tool in WebCT. It is an electronic storage space for documents submitted by your students. You can create multiple folders for assignments that can be opened and/or closed for submission based on specific dates and times.
Quizzes The Quizzes tool allows you to create a variety of assessments for your students. While labeled 'Quizzes', this tool can be used for exams, surveys, and/or homework assignments. The Quizzes tool can be used to create the following types of questions: multiple-choice, true/false, arithmetic (including specifying ranges of numbers with significant figures), fill-in-the-blank, multi-select, matching, ordering, and long and short answers. Many of these questions can be graded automatically and then automatically entered into the Grades tool. Quizzes can be released conditionally based on date and time

Internal Email This is an email system that is internal to Learn. This account is different from an RRC email account in that it only allows communication within Learn.
Discussions The Discussions tool can be used for online discussions between you and your students or between groups of students. After setting up a discussion Forum (major categories), you can create individual topics within the forum for discussion. Students can post messages in a 'threaded' discussion. Students can also attach documents & images to their messages. You can set Discussions up to be marked.
Intelligent Agents The Intelligent Agents tool monitors your course to find activity that matches criteria that you set. You can use intelligent agents to do things like email students with grades below a certain level, check for students that have not logged in recently, or perform actions when students view certain pieces of content.
Manage Files Learn saves your content as files within the Learn system. Manage Files allows you to view, upload, or delete these files.
Release Conditions Release Conditions are used to define conditions that need to be satisfied in order to grant students access to a piece of content. "Release" means "visible or accessible to students." The most commonly used release conditions are date and time. Learn also allows instructors to define other types of conditions for release of material to students. It can be used to define the order in which a student accesses course materials. These defined orders are sometimes referred to as "learning paths."
Editing the Navbar This video shows you how to add and remove tools in the Learn navbar (the navigation bar at the top that provides links to tools). It will allow you to remove tools you don't want to use in your course and add tools that don't show up in the default navbar - tools like chat, rubrics, or Elluminate.
Using Elluminate in Learn This video shows you how to add Elluminate to your course and schedule rooms using the Elluminate tool.
Elluminate Training This video gives you a brief overview of how to use Elluminate effectively.
