Red River College is committed to being a sustainability leader through our operations, academic programs and applied research. Areas of focus include:

• Green Buildings - new construction and resource-efficient upgrades to existing facilities
• Transportation - carpooling promotion, cycling facilities, EcoPass transit incentives
• Food Services - increasing use of local and regional foods, reducing packaging waste
• Waste Reduction - comprehensive recycling program, e-waste, on-site composting, battery recycling, incentives for reusable cup use
• Green Education - information seminars, participation in sustainability events, applied sustainability research
• Procurement - purchase, delivery and processing of materials to improve sustainable outcomes
